Filzmoos is conveniently located, being only 45 minutes away from Salzburg and the German border. It benefits from access to excellent Air, Road and Rail services.
Salzburg airport is only 45 minutes away by car, which is covered on mostly uncluttered motorway. Several of the “low cost” airlines operate a great service to Salzburg at very reasonable prices.
Ryan air operates a service from London Stanstead to Salzburg twice daily, which increases to three times a day in the ski season. Further details on availability and costs can be found on: www.ryanair.com.
Flybe operate a small service from Birmingham international and Southampton international airport to Salzburg on Saturdays only. Further details on availability and costs can be found on www.flybe.com

All the major car hire companies operate from Salzburg airport, and are conveniently located directly opposite the terminal. Pre booking is advisable and can be done easily by using the links below.
Routes, distances and times will vary due in relation to which port you land. Both the AA and the RAC provide a European route finder which is invaluable, and can be requested to provide either the fastest or shortest route and to go via any particular locations on route. Filzmoos is sign posted from the A10 motorway, and Haus Reynolds can be easily found using the map below. You will also be directed to us by road signs. We will send you a map and more detailed directions with your booking confirmation. If you do drive from the UK don’t forget to organise your insurance green card, to ensure insurance cover in Europe, and road side recovery cover such as AA 5 star. Details can be found on the AA website. On entering Austria by road you will see road signs informing you that you need to purchase a”vignette”. This is a form of Austrian road tax imposed on the use of their motorways and once purchased should be displayed on your windscreen. Fortunately they don’t cost too much, a 10 day costs approx 8€.
It is possible to get to Filzmoos from Salzburg by either train or bus. Both methods do require a change but the services are very reliable and connections between Trains, trains and buses and 2 different buses are generally synchronised. The trains run from Salzburg to either Radstadt and Eben, from where you then have to take either a bus or taxi. The number 270 Bus run from Salzburg to Eben where you then change to the 521 for filzmoos
